No Joe
Ah, the things that bubble up out of the muck of fickle memory when one unwarily skims one's favorite blogs. I had all but forgotten Joe Biden's complicity, indeed his unalloyed guilt in regards to the bedamned desires of U.S. banking interests.
Nothing fills my mouth with bile faster than the thought of voting for such people because I must to put an end to Republican control of government. If Biden runs for president in 2008, he must be crushed in the early primaries; all hope must be leeched from him before he can damage more worthy candidates.
And yes, for those who will argue that Biden's still a good guy and basically a liberal, what he did demonstrates he is, if not as vile as a Big Bidness Conservative, at least capable of being and willing to be as vile.
(I should note that Biden essentially interests me very little other than this one little point on which hinges my vehement opposition to any candidacy he might offer. I think, basically, he would be one of the most boring candidates imaginable. It's yet another reason to oppose him, but not one that gets me particularly fired up. Hence his tendency to disappear from my radar if I'm not regularly reminded what damage he has, and doubtlessly will continue, to do.)
P.S. Also, ewwwwwww!
