Buffy's Back

My friend Brad sent me an email announcing that Dark Horse will unveil the No. 1 issue in the new Buffy miniseries (six comics) this week at ComicCon. The image to the right is the cover art for issue 1.

The series is supposed to detail the lives of the Slayer and her friends after the finale of Season 7. It will include the introduction of a villian one hopes will be very cool, since Dark Horse is keeping his or her identity very, very quiet.

The most exciting thing, though, is the comic is written by Josh Whedon himself.

I'm working on getting my hands on a copy of No. 1. As soon as I do, I'm sure I'll post about it here.
