I'd like to make some bitingly witty comment about this, but it makes me too fucking mad.

Let's just make it simple. Your beliefs, no matter how deeply held, must never trump the health and well-being of another person. If you're a doctor, and you can't accept that, then find something else to do ... preferably far, far away from decent people.

What Would Jesus Do? I doubt he'd compare reasonable access to timely medical care in a rape case to buying jeans.
