No, No, No. We Liberals Want it to be Legal for US to Get Stoned

Over at The Huffington Post, Danielle Crittenden is getting her righteous on at the expense of all those many, many liberals who really hate war, but just love it when a woman gets stoned to a bloody pulp.

Yeah, I know. I didn't realize any liberals like that existed either.

On the other hand, despite Crittenden's rather desperate efforts to imply that opponents of George Bush's war condone stoning, (and to imply that George's war has improved the lot of women in any way, form or manner), her challenge to concrete action is welcome. I encourage everyone to take the time to appeal to the Iranian authorities on behalf of the women she mentions. Addresses are included at the end of her post.

While you're at it, you should also draft appeals to the leaders of all the countries Crittenden fails to mention (perhaps because they're allies of the Bush administration) where women are legally, viciously oppressed. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan might be good places to start.
