Is Ignorance Trickling Down

Returning to blogging after a short break (during which I had many adventures, possibly more about them later), I wanted to direct the attention of my ones of readers to this post by Amanda at Pandagon.

Now, I'm inclined to be pretty unsympathetic to the rich, but I think she makes a compelling argument that it's actually an undemocratic impulse among the economic and political elites in this country that is causing the dumbing down of America.
