Is the MSM Turning on Cheney?

Finally?

Well, per John at AMERICAblog, Dan Froomkin of the Washington Post has a roundup of critical media coverage of Dick Cheney's claim that Ned Lamont's victory in the Connecticut Primary is an indication that Democrats are giving aid and comfort to terrorists.

I found hope in Froomkin's column. I especially find it heartening that some are actually questioning Cheney's sanity. The truth is the Bush Administration is as anti-democracy as its possible to be. The only thing that keeps them from totalitarianism is the American political system, which they're trying to dismantle bit by bit. This is something an independent media would be covering with extreme outrage. Maybe the negative coverage of Cheney's attack indicates the media is finally starting to generate a little of that outrage.
