"A word after a word after a word is power”

What Have We Been Saying? Eh? What?

So Rawstory has this post about a Christian website that conducted a poll that showed 50 percent of Christian men and 20 percent of Christian women are addicted to porn.

This is practically the definition of "not a surprise".

Okay, so the poll was online, which means it's shit. Also, the pollsters define "addiction" as "use on an ongoing basis." By that definition, vast numbers of Americans must be addicted to watching gawdawful shows on TV, wearing Chapstick, wearing really ugly clothes, driving like idjits, eating mashed potatoes and brushing their teeth, among well ... just about everything else we do.

Still the idea's amusing. And is it just me, or does this "poll" simply confirm what all us secular-liberal-sin-puppies have been saying for a long, long time. Christians just want to ban things that they are too weak to resist. They make up rules, which they can't follow, so they project and try to enforce their rules on everyone else.

From now on the correct answer to Christian criticisms of secular society is the rubber/glue defense. It'll be so funny, 'cause it's true.

They say "addicted to porn" like it's a bad thing. :)
