The Anti-Sex Agenda Marches On

There's a story in the Charleston Gazette today about how clinics might have to stop giving out free birth control to low-income women because Ortho-McNeil has raised their prices.

I love how the spokeswoman for the company claims they're just following Medicaid pricing formulas, as if the government is forcing them to raise prices. That gets shot down pretty quickly by the vice president for public policy at National Family Planning Reproductive Health Association.

I consider this a win/win for the Bush Administration. They get to help their big bidness buds fuck poor people over and they get to deny birth control to people who need it. There's something for every type of right-wing asshole in this.

I'm not sure we can wait until November to start taking back the government from these people. By November they might have outlawed sex for anyone making less than $100,000 a year.

The big question is, what will we do if November passes and nothing changes. Because that's what I fear, polls or no polls.
